Well, that's a great question. Jesus died on the cross to allow us one day to receive salvation. What is salvation? Salvation is when you give Jesus your life, since he gave his life for you. That let's you know how much Jesus loves you. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life"
